If it is a result of a virus some essential oils have antiviral properties that may help eliminate the source of the stomach ache. In case there is a flu or cold going around use a diffuser to help put essential oils in the air. By diffusing the oil in the air the cold or flu is less likely to spread.
If you have a viral infection, place a drop of both cinnamon and oregano within a small bowl of some vegetable oil or coconut oil to dilute the oil potency. Mix the oils together then use a dropper to drop a few drops of the oil blend into a capsule. Then swallow the capsule with a glass of water. This method for treating the stomach flu has been effective for some people. Also consider adding a drop of cinnamon to a class of water to help get rid of the virus. Also you may add a drop of peppermint or fennel to calm the stomach ache.

Suggested Ways to use
Take ginger, fennel, or peppermint internally with water, juice, or a teaspoon of honey.
For children mix the ginger, fennel, or peppermint with vegetable oil or coconut oil to dilute its potency and then rub the oil the tummy. F0r small infants apply on the feet instead.
If the upset stomach is a result of stress put 1 – 2 drops of peppermint oil in a glass of water to settle your stomach. Also rub drops of lavender oil on the bottoms of your feet.
Also for stress or motion sickness put 3 – 5 drops of peppermint and/or ginger in a cub and in hale from the cup as needed.
